Welcome to The Makeup Institute!

We are here to help you accomplish your goals as a professional makeup artist.


We currently offer different courses depending on your skill level. Please scroll down to get an overview of each course. Keep in mind, we do have impromptu classes that are not listed on our website. We have morning and night courses available. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our courses.

You will practice on live models and have a chance to experience applying makeup on different skin types, races, ages, etc. you will also receive live demos from your instructors.

1 Week Course

15 Hours - Kit not included (available for purchase)

One day on each subject.

This course will include:

  • Eyebrow techniques and fundamentals
  • Skin prep, foundation application, product knowledge, highlighting and contouring
  • Color theory, detailed eyeshadow application, liner and eyelash application
  • Content creation (photos, videos, lighting and background)
  • Intro to business (branding, marketing, pro artist accounts, booking sites, how to start your own cosmetic company, wedding parties and group rates)
  • Safety and sanitation
  • Makeup artist license from Ohio State Board

39 Hours - Full kit included

One week on each subject

GO AND BOOK NOW!!!!! DO NOT hesitate!!!!! everyone in there is so talented and polite. I needed a last minute make up application for a friends birthday and I walked in and was greeted and in someone's chair in less than 10 minutes as a WALK IN!!!!! there were 3 others ahead of me and we all were tooken care of very quickly. it's BEAUTIFUL in there and everyone is sooooo nice and welcoming! My make up application was flawless! I've been going there ever since. Anything make up they are your go to!!!! they offer classes too!!!!!
